WORKS
Here pieces emerge in families of forms,
and the forms are ancient.
Each family gathers around a figure that human cultures have returned to again and again, across distances and time.
Some existed long before humanity adopted them. They surface on rock walls, in grave goods, in the first objects shaped by hand, and they surface again here, carved into wood, bone and stone.
The families are open cycles, a vocabulary still becoming, open to the forms that have not yet surfaced. Six stand now. Within the cycle the work takes shape as unique pieces and limited series, each object worked once or in a small, counted series. The research beneath it has run for more than a decade, inspired by archaeology, anthropology, and the long question of what humans have made and why.
Enter where the form draws you.
